Best city for whale watching

IN THE PAST FEW DAYS, there’s been no need for tourists in Vancouver, British Columbia to pay hundreds of dollars to hop into a speed boat and go whale watching.

A humpback whale has been feeding in English Bay and people have been able to get close and personal interactions with this beautiful marine mammal.

According to the CBC, on Sunday, John Olynyk and and his friend Wade Peeler went kayaking to get a better look at the animal that Olynyk first saw on last Thursday while biking around Stanley Park. This is what happened:

That’s a bit too close for both the kayakers and the animals, but we must admit that it is one incredible moment that these guys captured.
