Study: One fourth of Latinos don’t think the American public education system is trying to help their children.

Students of color now constitute the majority of students in public schools. And yet, a new survey suggests that the parents of these students have little trust that the public education system serves their students. The survey interviewed 400 African-American and 400 Latino parents from a range of incomes on their opinions of the public education system. Some results:
