THE 16th Bangkok Fruit Festival from July 2 to 29 will bring together some of Asia’s most exotic fruits, including durians, rambutans and snake fruits.

Guests have the rare chance to try some of Asia’s best fruits under one roof, but the festival itself will rotate within various malls in Bangkok.

According to Coconuts Bangkok, many species of durian will be on offer, including those from Pala-U district in Prachuabkirikhan which are bred for its delicate flavour and subtle aroma.

The fruits on parade are collected from Thai and regional orchards. June is the peak season for durians and many other tropical fruits in Asia.
