The new Maxim Lounge at the DaVinci Hotel and Suites, the only whisky bar in Sandton, opened its doors on June 1.

“We wanted to not only create a highly personal and unique experience for each whisky aficionado, but help you find the serve that’s right for you, and perhaps even induce you to try a blend you wouldn’t necessarily be drawn to,” said Robert Hodson, General Manager of the hotel.

Draymans, Draymans Solera, Nikka from the Barrel, Scotch whiskies, Irish and American whiskeys, Jim Beam White Label, Makers Mark and Woodford Reserve are all be on offer at the Maxim Lounge.

Fans of other kinds of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages can still enjoy soft drinks, beers on tap and a wine list with a choice of wines and champagnes. A selection of cigars are available and a canapé menu is served.

The Maxim Lounge is open Monday to Saturday from 10h00 till late.
