Delta will deploy its new Airbus A350 aircraft featuring the Delta One and Delta Premium Select cabins on its route between Atlanta and Seoul-Incheon beginning March 24th, 2018.
The route, which debuted in June, links Delta’s Atlanta hub, the world’s busiest airport hub operation, to Seoul-Incheon, home of Delta’s trans-Pacific joint venture partner Korean Air.
“We’re very excited that our flagship international product on the new A350 will link customers across these two important hubs across the pacific,” said Steve Sear, Delta president, international.
“Delta is focused on improving the customer experience in-flight through our innovative and thoughtful products and services.”
Today, the on-board experience between Atlanta and Seoul-Incheon is on Delta’s Boeing 777-200LR aircraft offering 37 Delta One, 36 Delta Comfort+ and 218 Main Cabin seats.
Delta’s first A350 flight is scheduled for October 30th this year, from Detroit to Tokyo-Narita.
The state-of-the-art wide-body aircraft will also fly between Detroit and Seoul-Incheon beginning in November and Detroit and Beijing beginning in January.
