Jenman African Safaris has launched a new Northern Experience fly-in safari. The safari lasts two to three weeks and takes in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe.

The tour starts in Cape Town, with guests spending four days exploring Table Mountain, Company Gardens, Greenmarket Square, the SA Museum and Bo-Kaap. The itinerary also includes the Cape Peninsula, Sea Point, Clifton, Camps Bay, Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak, Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve.

Next stop is Swakopmund followed by 10 days in Namibia. The tour goes to the Namib Naukluft National Park to visit Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. Next stop is Spitzkoppe to view ancient San paintings and engravings, a stop at a local distillery and small wine cellar in Omaruru, followed by a visit to a Himba village to meet a local Ova-Himba community. The trip ends at Etosha National Park.

From Namibia, visitors will travel to Botswana’s Okavango Delta for two days where they will travel in mokoros, a traditional dugout canoe, to explore the Delta’s waterways. This is followed by the Caprivi Strip in Namibia and two days in Botswana’s Chobe National Park. An afternoon cruise on the Chobe River completes the Botswana leg of the tour. The final day takes guests to the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe for a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
