“We are proud to celebrate the opening of Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai, as part of our growing portfolio of iconic and luxurious hotels in the Middle East & Africa region.
“This beachfront, palatial resort confirms our commitment to serving to the top segment of a growing luxury hospitality market.
“We remain committed to the vision of Dubai as one of the most innovative tourism destinations in the Middle East,” said Henk Meyknecht, chief operating officer, Middle East & Africa, Kempinski Hotels.
Inspired by European palaces of the past, the magnificent building has been meticulously designed with neoclassical architecture at the forefront.
These characteristics are captured in the five striking Palladian domes that form the distinct silhouette of the property, and in the eight marble columns in the grand atrium, intricately pieced together using the finest pink Portuguese marble, Rosa Portogallo.
Craftsmen have used the finest materials handpicked from Italy, France and across Europe, from the striking chandelier made from 40,000 Swarovski crystals in the grand atrium, to an ornate ballroom accented with damask silk tapestries, and a Blüthner Supreme Edition Louis XIV grand piano in the spectacular Blüthner Hall.
The 3,000 sq. m Cinq Mondes spa provides a luxurious urban sanctuary, complete with 23 treatment rooms, two private spa suites and Dubai’s largest indoor pool.
