National carrier, SAA, is offering special travel trade fares to travel advisers and travel industry professionals attending the numerous upcoming tourism conferences being hosted in South Africa.

These special fares are available for delegates attending the International Luxury Travel Market (April 2-4), the World Travel Market Africa (April 6-8), We Are Africa (May 18-21) and Indaba (May 12-14).

Fares apply to economy- and business-class round-trips from either New York or Washington D.C., to Johannesburg, Cape Town or Durban.

According to a statement made by SAA, conference delegates also have access to special low add-on fares to selected destinations in the airline’s network in southern and east Africa should they be participating in pre- or post-conference tours of the continent.

“We offer these exclusive fares as an opportunity for travel advisers and industry partners to immerse themselves in the knowledge of selling Africa. There is nothing more valuable than experiencing the destination first hand and interacting with suppliers showcasing Africa’s best tourism products,” said Marlene Sanau, Vice President of Sales for SAA in North America.
