Mexico takes steps to decriminalize up to an ounce of marijuana

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto recently signed a proposal that would increase the limit of marijuana possession in the country to 28 grams (previously, it was 5 grams). It also would release offenders already in jail for possession of less than that amount.

This puts Mexico in line with other Latin American countries — like Ecuador, Colombia, and Paraguay — who have enacted similar things. Watch the video above to learn more.
