Ker & Downey’s luxury tented safari camp, Dinaka, opened its doors this month, after undergoing a total rebuild in December.
The exclusive camp is alongside the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, which has one of the most unique bio-diversities in Southern Africa, and offers a plethora of wildlife and safari experiences.
The 16-bed tented camp is luxurious, with each tent raised up on a wooden deck giving the perfect vantage point over a permanent watering hole. All areas of the camp are accessible by wheelchair.
Francesca Hird, Marketing Director of Dinaka, says guests are accommodated in seven spacious twin and double-bed safari tents, each with an en-suite bathroom that has an indoor and outdoor shower, hot and cold running water, and flush toilet. The minimum age for guests at Dinaka is seven years old, and activities on offer include game drives, night drives, walking safaris and birding.
