The most famous tomb there, of course, is that of Eva Peron. She is buried in the Duarte family tomb.
When visiting the cemetery, be sure to protect your skin. Even if you rarely burn, like I do, being surrounded by marble will hit you with double the UV rays. Sunscreen is not an option here!

Recoleta Cemetery is about a 15-20 minute walk from the Pueyreddon stop on the subte’s D line. Take in the sights of Barrio Norte on the way! (Also, be careful, because this is where I was pickpocketed.)
Entry is free, though you’ll find people selling maps. Honestly, you don’t need them — just follow the crowds to find Evita! There are also free English-language tours on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:00 AM.
This is the most spellbinding attraction in Buenos Aires. Be sure not to miss it.
