The Renfe-SNCF partnership will now provide a free Wi-Fi service on board international trains linking Spain and France.
The Wi-Fi connection service will be available to all clients on board international trains in Spanish and French territory, and will be totally free of charge.
To enjoy the service, travellers must access one of two connection platforms provided by Renfe and SNCF through Play Renfe, on the routes Lyon-Barcelona and Marseille Barcelona-Madrid, or Le Wi-Fi, on routes Paris-Barcelona and Toulouse-Barcelona.
Through said connection platforms, clients will be able to access 4G connectivity and to enjoy various digital contents depending on the platform (such as films, books, games and music) and on-demand information about timetables, fares and buying tickets.
Renfe-SNCF services link Barcelona, Girona and Figueras with Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Carcassonne, Marseille, Perpignan, Narbonne, Montpellier, Nimes, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence or Valence.
If starting from Madrid, Zaragoza or Tarragona, clients can travel to Marseille, Avignon or Aix-en-Provence passing through the southern French cities of Perpignan, Narbonne, Montpellier or Nimes.
