The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has unveiled a new online marketing strategy to tap into the country’s digital MICE market.
The Biz Thailand mobile application was launched as an information gateway for MICE and business travelers.
The app will help to leverage the TCEB website user experience, and will cater to travelers from around the globe.
The location-specific app will also update travelers on special promotions and activities in the area in real time, or allow users to share information on their social media channels.
Meanwhile, TCEB’s official MICE website has been enhanced to provide comprehensive information for travelers in eight languages.
Last week, TCEB revealed their ‘Thailand CONNECT Welcome Package 2016’ to raise awareness of Thailand as a premier MICE destination for China.
From October 2014 to September 2015, Thailand attracted 1,095,995 business event visitors, of which 109,987 were Chinese MICE travellers.
