After a star-studded launch party, The Trafalgar St. James is officially open.
Located in the heart of London, this iconic Trafalgar Square hotel has undergone a complete transformation and is set to be one of the hottest hotels in the capital, with a major emphasis on being a food and drink destination for Londoners and international visitors alike.
The exciting vision for the new hotel was born from London + Regional’s creative director, Mario Nicolaou, who appointed two specialist design partners to bring the concept to life.
London-based SHH Architecture & Interior Design were responsible for the Rooftop space and room design, creating a distinctively London aesthetic with bold and inviting colours.
For the food and drink destinations, leading design and concept firm AvroKO, has reimagined the New York restaurant experience for the London scene.
The Rooftop features a retractable canopy so come rain or shine, and even in the depths of winter, Londoners will be flocking here to enjoy a cocktail whilst soaking up the ultimate views of the London skyline.
The space features a large, accessible and stylish space with a lounge serving up a selection of ever-changing Asian inspired small plates; and a private glasshouse, ROOM, which is available to hire for intimate experiences and events with seating for up to 14 people.
The hotel’s 131 rooms, with 15 suites (including three signature suites named after the artists who designed key landmarks in Trafalgar Square), offer a chic, urban vibe allowing guests to wake up to the ultimate view of central London.
The Trafalgar St. James is tucked away on the south-west side of the world-famous Trafalgar Square, in the heart of the West End and amidst the hustle of bustle of St. James.
This part of London has long been seen as more of a tourist destination but the hotel wants to put it back into the hearts of Londoners and bring a whole new level of excitement to the area.
