Vietnam Airlines has announced the launch of a new flight connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Quang Ninh province, via Van Don International Airport.

The flights will start on December 30th.

The daily service will be operated on Airbus A321 and will depart from Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 14:00 and from Van Don International Airport at 16:45 with a flight time of around two hours and five minutes.

Tickets are available for sale at ticket offices, agents and official website of Vietnam Airlines.

The new service will provide additional capacity to meet increasing tourism, business and trade demand, as well as enhancing connectivity between the south and north-east of Vietnam.

Quang Ninh is soon to become the special economic zone of Vietnam.

In preparation for this, Vietnam Airlines has provided new on ground equipment, airport check-in system, suitable facility and infrastructure as well as intensive staff training to ensure seamless and secure journey and therefore luring more tourists into this growing market.
