Sun Country Airlines Makes Improvements to its UFly Rewards Program
This week Minneapolis-based low-cost carrier Sun Country Airlines shared the details regarding improvements to its loyalty program, UFly Rewards. Beginning July 1, UFly members will earn 10 points per dollar on all Sun Country purchases. Additionally, customers can now use a points + dollars option to pay for flights and other travel expenses.
Earn Up to 10,500 Bonus Miles for Referring Your Friends to Air Berlin’s Loyalty Program
Air Berlin is awarding bonus miles to those who refer friends to the airline’s loyalty program, topbonus. You’ll receive 500 miles for your first referral, then 1,000 miles for each one after that (up to 10 referrals). You’ll also receive a bonus 1,000 miles after signing up for topbonus yourself.
Oneworld Alliance Eliminates Separate Tickets Protections
The Oneworld Alliance has made changes to the way it’s handling separate tickets booked on alliance carriers, mainly that airlines are no longer obligated to check your bags to your final destination or rebook you in case of a delay or cancellation if you have booked separate tickets on Oneworld flights. You’ll still receive these benefits, however, if you’re booked on one ticket that contains segments on different carriers.
