Air Mauritius has cancelled its Friday flights from Cape Town to Mauritius, effective from November. The airline’s flights on Sundays and Tuesdays will operate as usual.

The airline said the change came as a result of capacity rationalisation. While it had hoped to add a third frequency out of Cape Town, the flight is not delivering the required profits.

Affected passengers have been reallocated to travel via JNB on MK operations.

Affected passengers have the option to re-book via JNB or DUR at no additional cost; change their travel dates at no cost; or postpone their travel without any rebooking charge. Passengers may also opt to request a full refund. Refunds need to be requested before October 31.
