Interestingly, AA is marketing the offer with a photo of a customer enjoying AA’s first-class transcon service on the A321T, which isn’t something you’d expect to fly often as an AA Gold (without paying a lot or redeeming tens of thousands of miles). The offer doesn’t specify which card Rahul needs to use, so it’s possible that any co-branded card may be eligible, such as the Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select MasterCard or the Citi AAdvantage Executive card.
