Australia’s Tourism Minister, Simon Birmingham, announced the India Host Program which has been developed by the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC), in partnership with Tourism Australia and Austrade.

“With an estimated 70 million Indians set to travel overseas annually by 2035, we need to make sure that Australia is well-positioned to capitalise on the huge potential of this market,” Minister Birmingham said.

The timing of this initiative couldn’t be better with the T20 Cricket World Cup taking place in Australia next year which we know will be a huge drawcard for Indian tourists,” added Minister Birmingham.

The programme will consist of five online webinar-style modules along with trade workshops around the country to ensure regioni
