Autograph Collection Hotels has revealed the opening of its first hotel in Estonia with the debut of Hotel Telegraaf in Tallinn’s historic centre.

Situated at the heart of the city on the ancient and distinguished Vene Street, the hotel is housed in one of Tallinn’s grandest buildings.

Dating back to 1878, the building is steeped in history, having been home to both the Revaler Handelsbank and, subsequently, the country’s central post, telephone and telegraph office – from which the hotel took its name.

“We are delighted for Hotel Telegraaf to join Autograph Collection Hotels as our first hotel in Estonia,” said John Licence, vice president, premium and select brands, Europe.

“With its rich history, iconic architecture, and curated design, this hotel perfectly embodies the brand’s exactly like nothing else mantra and is a welcome addition to our distinguished portfolio of over 110 hotels worldwide.”

Boasting modern design and Art Deco décor, Hotel Telegraaf features 83 guest rooms and suites, many of which feature Medieval Old Town views and foster an intimate and residential feel – echoing Autograph Collection Hotels’ values of vision, design and craft.

The luxury Telegraaf SPA features two treatment rooms, a ten metre swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, offering complete relaxation and well-being for guests looking for a tranquil escape following a day exploring the rich cultural sites of Tallinn.

Symphony Lounge is a multifunctional meeting space that offers flexible solutions for business travellers.

Suitable for small- and medium-sized meetings and events, the 61m² room benefits from natural daylight and can cater for groups of up to 45 guests.

Autograph collection is Marriott International’s distinctive collection of passionately independent hotels.
