Carnival installs pop-up sushi bars on four ships

Carnival Cruise Line has created pop-up sushi venues on four ships that are smaller than its full-service Bonsai Sushi restaurants.

The stand-alone eateries are located on the lido deck and offer a variety of sushi, sashimi and rolls on an a la carte basis. Diners place their order at the counter, are given a pager, and are paged when their food is ready.

Per piece prices range from $1.50 to $7.50.

The four ships offering the new venues, called “Sushi at Sea” are the Carnival Conquest, Valor, Liberty and Glory.
