CemAir’s Margate to Cape Town (via Plettenberg Bay) service is on hold for the time being, as the airline tries to make up the fleet capacity to operate the route.

Meanwhile, the carrier continues to reinstate scheduled flights, with a limited service launching from Johannesburg to Plettenberg Bay on March 15, and from Bloemfontein to George on March 23.

Flight times for these services have not yet been announced, but will be published on CemAir’s website and booking channels as soon as they are finalised.

A further announcement on the status of the Bloemfontein to Port Elizabeth schedule will be made in the near future.

“I wish to thank our customers for their patience and their loyalty,” says Miles van der Molen, CEO of CemAir, “I realise that many people were inconvenienced, for which I offer a sincere apology. I am pleased to announce that we are restoring service and look forward to closing this chapter and continuing to provide communities with the much-needed world-class airline service.”
