French river cruise line CroisiEurope has introduced a series of Family Club cruises on which children under 16 will be allowed to cruise for free or at a discounted rate.

On the Family Club cruises, families of four (two parents with two children that are five years and older) will receive a second cabin, while families with one child will receive one cabin. Additionally, the single supplement will be waived for single parents traveling with children up to 16 years of age.

The Family Club departures will also include supervised water games and kid-friendly activities and children will be invited to take part in a performance at the end of each cruise.

The Family Club option is being offered on four CroisiEurope itineraries for 2017.

On CroisiEurope’s 8-day Croatia and Montenegro cruise (priced from $2,523 for adults), families will receive 30% off for children up to 16 years of age. Family Club departures are July 6, 13, 20, 27 and Aug. 10.

On the 6-day Douro valley and Salamanca cruise through Portugal and Spain (priced from $1,421 for adults), children up to 16 years of age will cruise free on the July 27, Aug. 1, 6 and 11 departures.

Children up to 16 years of age will also cruise free on 8-day Andalusia: Traditions, Gastronomy and Flamenco cruises (priced from $1,805 for adults), with the Family Club departures taking place on July 9 and 16 and Aug. 1, 9 and 17.

Lastly, CroisiEurope will also host Family Club departures for its Venice and its Lagoon cruise (priced from $1,429 per person). Children up to 16 years of age will cruise for free on the July 1, 6, 25 and 30, and Aug. 8, 13 and 27 departures.
