CroisiEurope has announced that the RV African Dream, which is set to launch in Southern Africa in December 2017, is currently being completed in the Harare shipyard in Zimbabwe.

The unique boat will be completed in early August and transported over 1,000 kilometres across the African savanna to reach its home port in Kasane, Botswana.

Measuring 40 metres long by eight metres wide, the RV African Dream will be cut into two units which will be transported on the only trailer in southern Africa capable of supporting such a load.

The RV African Dream will accommodate a total of 16 guests in eight suites measuring 18m2, six of which will be equipped with French balconies while the other two deluxe suites will have balconies measuring 4m2.

The boat will also feature a panoramic restaurant, lounge bar and rooftop terrace as well as a crew of eight.

Cruising along the most beautiful stretches of the Chobe and Zambezi rivers, the RV African Dream will offer an exclusive and unique four-day/three-night cruise-safari followed by a five-day/four-night stay at the five-star CroisiEurope-owned Cascades lodge.

Safaris on land and water as well as a day at Victoria Falls are included in the programme.
