The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando has reduced its theme park operating hours for the fall.

Starting on Sept. 8, the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios will be closing an hour earlier than they do now. Epcot will close two hours earlier, while Animal Kingdom will open an hour later and close an hour earlier than it has been.

Magic Kingdom hours will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting Sept. 8, while at Hollywood Studios, the new operating hours will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Epcot’s reduced hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Animal Kingdom will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. That park had been open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The new hours are applicable for the month of October, as well. Disney has not published park operating hours beyond that month.

Currently, Disney’s theme parks are operating at a limited capacity, and guests are required to make reservations to visit. Reservations are currently available through Sept. 26, 2021.
