Dream Hotel Group is plotting Caribbean expansion via its By Dream Hotel Group collection.
“By Dream Hotel Group is really a collection of lifestyle, independent hotels that may have had their own branding previously, or it may be an owner that wants to open as a pure independent in a certain market but still wants to have the special sauce of what we do, in terms of food and beverage, culture, the way we treat our guests, revenue management and more,” Dream Hotel Group CEO Jay Stein told Travel Weekly.

The collection’s inaugural signings are the Emma & Elissa by Dream Hotel Group in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and The Bight by Dream Hotel Group, which will be located on Grace Bay Beach in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos.

Scheduled to open in 2022, The Bight will have 90 guestrooms and a residential condo component.

The 220-room Emma & Elissa will have a rooftop infinity pool, a mixology bar, lounge area and sun deck, signature restaurant, beachfront café, kids club and fitness center. That property will also have condos. It is slated to open by 2023 and will be Dream Hotel Group’s first Turks & Caicos project.

According to Stein, the company expects to announce up to four more By Dream Hotel Group signings by June.

“I think this will be a brand we’ll be growing fairly quickly,” Stein said.
By Dream Hotel Group joins the company’s Dream Hotels, Time Hotels, The Chatwal and Unscripted brands. Collectively, the Dream Hotel Group portfolio has 16 hotels worldwide.
