easyJet Holidays has created a board of directors to drive the future of the business.

The news comes as Mandy Round, current general manager of easyJet Holidays, leaves the business to pursue other professional opportunities.

The new board is made up of a combination of key easyJet individuals who bring with them extensive business and brand knowledge, along with newly appointed and experienced travel industry professionals.

Joining the board are Alex Loftus, who takes up the role of commercial director; Fiona Jennings, communications director; James Hardy, digital director; Paul Curtis, interim technology lead; and Michelle Heywood, finance director.

They will be joined in July by Paul Bixby, when he takes up the tole of strategy and sourcing director with easyJet Holidays.

Rebecca Mills, legal director, and Mary Newcombe, marketing director, join the board from easyJet.

They, along with James Hardy, will have remits that extend across both easyJet and easyJet Holidays.

Garry Wilson, easyJet Holidays chief executive, said: “I am pleased to announce a number of appointments to my newly created board.

“This team has the ambition, experience, and diversity needed to build and grow our business to become a major player in the holiday market.”

He added: “I’d like to thank Mandy for all her hard work and commitment over the past eight years managing the holidays business and I along with my colleagues wish her all the best for her personal and professional future.”
