As Eurowings continues to expand its UK network, Europe’s fastest growing airline is adding a Jersey-Hamburg route to its portfolio.

The once weekly flight will take off every Sunday as of May 6th, 2018.

In total Eurowings is then operating two one weekly routes from Jersey next summer: to Hamburg and Dusseldorf.

Markus Leopold, regional manager, UK, Eurowings: “We are pleased to further expand our Germany to UK network with our new route from Jersey to Hamburg.

“After a successful last season with our Dusseldorf route, we decided to add another route from Germany to Jersey and are looking forward to bring even more German tourists to the beautiful Channel island.”

The flight departs in Hamburg at 06:00 and lands in Jersey at 07:00.

The flight from Jersey departs at 7:35 and lands in Hamburg at 10:25.

Keith Beecham, chief executive of Visit Jersey, said: “Welcome from Jersey – a special island I call my home.

“Eurowings has been a good friend of Jersey over many years.

“I’m delighted that in 2018 they will be adding Hamburg to their routes to Jersey, in addition to flights from Dusseldorf.

“We may be a small island but Jersey is an island steeped in thousands of years of history and a countryside and coastline that offers wonderful opportunities to explore.

“Please do visit and return home on Eurowings with marvellous memories.”
