Expedia Partner Solutions has enhanced its Expedia Travel Agent Affiliate Program (TAAP) with new business-to-business rates, enabling advisors to earn up to double compensation for bookings at select hotel chains, including Marriott, Highgate and Club Quarters.

According to Expedia, the initiative is designed to provide “a much-needed recovery boost to travel agents dealing with the impact of the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic.”

Travel advisors can now access the special B2B rates on more than 81,000 room types globally.

The move builds on Expedia’s continued efforts grow the program’s reach. In June, the platform launched a promotion offering new users, as well as agents who hadn’t booked with Expedia TAAP in more than a year, an instant upgrade from standard to silver tier status.

The program has four tiers: standard, silver, gold and platinum. Agents are placed in one of the tiers based on their productivity, and commission levels increase as they move up.

Expedia TAAP, which has 3 million agent-users in more than 30 countries, is part of Expedia Group’s distribution program.

Expedia Group has been the exclusive global distributor of Marriott International’s B2B rates, content and availability since September 2019.
