FoundersCard comes with some incredible benefits, including several that are specific to Las Vegas. With the card, you’ll get perks like complimentary elite status, waived resort fees, priority lines, lounge access and more. One of the most valuable benefits you can get from the card is complimentary Diamond status with Total Rewards (the loyalty program of Caesars Entertainment), which will get you things like access to Diamond Lounges, waived resort fees and an annual $100 meal credit in addition to many other benefits. An added perk with this Diamond status that has been around but is not widely known is that you can use it for a complimentary trip to the Atlantis, Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas.
As a Total Rewards Diamond member, you can get four complimentary nights at the Beach Towers or four nights at the Coral Towers. You can enjoy additional benefits based on which complimentary stay you choose.
In addition to the this option for Total Rewards Diamond members, there are also options for both Platinum and Seven Stars members.
Is It Worth It?
For a four-night stay at Atlantis in September, a Beach Tower room is starting at $152 per night, for a total of $974 for the whole stay after taxes, surcharges and the resort fees. With your Total Rewards Diamond status from the FoundersCard, you’ll get this stay for free — including the costly resort fee. At Atlantis, the resort fee includes in-room and in-lobby Wi-Fi, access to the fitness center, two bottles of water per day, unlimited movie theater access, in-room coffee and tea, daily casino lessons and a shuttle between towers.
For a card with an annual membership fee of $395, you could be getting great value out of the card — upwards of $974 for this stay, alone!
Bottom Line
Although this partnership has been around since April, there’s still time to take advantage of the offer. TPG readers can apply for FoundersCard at a preferred annual rate of $395, which also includes a waived initiation fee (normally $95) — the regular cost for a FoundersCard membership is $795. The discounted rate you’ll get through being a TPG reader is offered for the lifetime of your account, so the lower rate isn’t limited to your first year. Keep in mind that this is not a credit card; it’s a membership card.
With this new(ish) option to use as part of your membership, there’s the potential for FoundersCard to be even more valuable. Along with this benefit, there are additional perks that can make it worthwhile, especially if discounts or bonus opportunities are available with one of your preferred programs. With FoundersCard, you’ll receive flight discounts on American Airlines, JetBlue and British Airways, in addition to a fast-track to elite status with American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Virgin American and Virgin Atlantic, as well as Hilton and Caesars.
