Following a three-month renovation, Heritage Le Telfair in Mauritius has reopened as the Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort.

Flora Fubbs, General Manager – Product, Marketing & Operations for The Holiday Factory, said an extensive upgrade had been undertaken in various parts of the resort. “Rooms were upgraded and the resort is now all-suite, with butler service in every room type. Spacious rooms allow for two adults and two children under 12 to share, making it great for families.”

Fubbs said the kids’ club and baby corner were also refurbished and a unique baby club for infants was now available as a complimentary service.

The dining options have been expanded and the Half Board and unique Gourmet Bliss all-inclusive option allow guests to enjoy dinner at 10 restaurants. Gourmet Bliss gives guests access to 12 restaurants across the Domaine Bel Ombre, as well as premium brand drinks including French Champagne.

A brand-new wellness pavilion offers yoga, pilates and other sessions and personally designed wellness packages can be booked. Green fees are complimentary for golfing guests.

“The entire beach area had extensive work done to reduce the effect of erosion, and the beach is now wide and pristine,” said Fubbs. “After visiting for the grand reopening I would rate the hotel five-star deluxe and absolutely one of the top hotel experiences on the island.”
