Iberostar Hotels & Resorts will open its new luxury hotel in Havana om Monday.

The Iberostar Grand Packard is set to become Iberostar’s flagship for quality and exclusivity in Cuba.

Starting next week, the Iberostar Grand Packard will be fully operational, coinciding with the start of Cuba’s peak tourist season, with a full team of professionals ready to welcome and cater for its future guests.

The fact that the hotel will be opening ahead of schedule is thanks to major efforts to meet the renovation work deadlines.

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts has made all efforts to ensure that every detail of this magnificent hotel, part of its city hotels segment and included in the grand luxury category, reflects the chain’s commitment to excellence and guest experience.

The Iberostar Grand Packard combines the building’s original architecture and the renovation of its 1911 façade, featuring innovative and exclusive lines, offering guests 321 rooms as well as luxury services and amenities.

This classic Havana hotel, which has welcomed illustrious guests including the poet Pablo Neruda or film star Marlon Brando, conserves the authentic spirit of Paseo del Prado, Old Havana’s main avenue.

Adding to its height is a contemporary upper structure, affording the most spectacular views of the capital, overlooking the Malecón Broadwalk and the Bay of Havana, as well as the Tres Reyes del Morro Castle.

The Iberostar Grand Packard is also set to become a leader in MICE tourism, as it features outstanding facilities for conventions and business events.

The opening of this classic building will also coincide with the preparations to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the founding of Havana and the 25th anniversary of Iberostar Hotels & Resorts’ presence in Cuba.

Furthermore, it positions Iberostar as the leader in terms of the number of luxury hotels and beds available on the island.
