Jambojet will operate two daily flights between Entebbe and Nairobi from February 15.

Jambojet, a subsidiary of Kenya Airways, said the introductory price of a one-way ticket would be KES11 300 (€90) inclusive of taxes, with a flight time of 80 minutes.

Flights will depart Jomo Kenyatta International Airport daily at 09h10 and 17h30, and the return flight will depart from Entebbe at 11h00 and 19h20.

The flights mark the low-cost carrier’s expansion outside Kenya.

Willem Hondius, Chief Executive of Jambojet, said in a statement on Monday: “We are delighted to launch direct services to Entebbe, a much-anticipated addition to our network where we will offer frequent and new flyers even more affordable fares.

“This new route will connect businesses in Kenya and Uganda while also appealing to leisure travellers, offering them the opportunity to experience Uganda, the ‘Pearl of Africa’,” he concluded.
