Kenya Airways will now accept euro payments, in addition to US dollars and Kenya shillings.

The national carrier made the announcement at the end of September, after opening a euro account. Sebastian Mikosz, CEO of Kenya Airways, said in a statement: “We have opened a euro account to offer guests more flexibility for payment options at all our sales outlets in Kenya.”

He said the move would assist the growing number of multinational organisations with operations in Kenya as well as the expanding European tourist market into East Africa.
