KLM ROYAL DUTCH AIRLINES has debuted its new World Business Class (WBC) seats that offer full-flat seats, extra storage compartments and a partition between television screens for added privacy.

Additionally, the WBC will see a refurbished cabin atmosphere that features new carpeting, panel decoration, curtains, lighting, blankets and cushions.

Moving away from conventional business travel style, the new cabins will feature a warm color palette and will see the use of more sustainable material.

The new seats will be retrofitted into all of KLM’s B747 and B777-200 fleets. By year end, the new fittings will also feature on all of its B777-300s.

WBC is the airline’s long-haul business class option where seats are arranged in a pod-style layout and passengers are handed amenity kits from Dutch-based fashion house Viktor & Rolf.

KLM services passengers from Europe to Asian business hubs including China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, China and Hong Kong.
