A poster for the Cirque du Soleil show VIAGGIO coming to MSC Meraviglia next month

MSC Cruises said the two Cirque du Soleil at Sea shows on its MSC Meraviglia set to debut next month will be called “Viaggio” and “Sonor.

According to the cruise line, “Viaggio” presents the story of a passionate and eccentric artist who hears the call of his Faceless Muse beckoning the painter to a vivid world of his unbridled imagination to complete his masterpiece. “Sonor” takes guests on an auditory adventure with dancers, acrobats and characters, all moving to the rhythm.

Dinner in the Carousel Lounge on the MSC Meraviglia will be tailored to each show. In the dining experience to complement “Sonor,” guests will be invited into a parallel world where culinary creations will trick the eyes as well as the senses, according to MSC, while “Viaggio” will immerse guests in a universe of color, “testing the imagination of guests from beginning to end.”

Dinner begins one hour before showtime, must be prereserved, is priced at $39 per person and is limited to 120 guests per show.

The remaining seats in the 413-seat Carousel Lounge will be for a Signature Cocktail & Show experience that starts a half-hour before curtain and costs $17.

There will be two performances six nights a week with each performance lasting 40 minutes.

MSC plans to develop two original Cirque shows for each of the four Meraviglia-class ships.
