Boutique hotel brand Hotel du Vin today has announced the appointment of Fiona Dardé as general manager of Hotel du Vin Exeter.

Dardé will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hotel, overseeing the development of the team to deliver the great food and wine the hotel is renowned for, as well as driving sales forward within the local market.

A former eye infirmary, the Hotel du Vin Exeter is set within a historic walled garden, a relaxing oasis for guests looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Dardé commented: “I’m so pleased to be joining the Hotel du Vin team.

“Hotel du Vin Exeter is a fantastic hotel, with its wonderful charm and personality and a great team.

“I can’t wait to welcome our guests as we look forward to many exciting opportunities throughout 2018.”

Dardé brings a commitment to excellent customer service, gained from over 15 years’ experience as a general manager, three of which were as an area general manager.

Nick Halliday, chief operating officer at Hotel du Vin, commented: “Fiona brings a wealth of experience with her to Hotel du Vin Exeter, one of our newest hotels.

“We’re delighted to welcome her to our team and seeing the hotel flourish under her leadership.”
