Nexion Travel Group has created a cruise sales-focused training track for advisors, NEXstart Cruise.

Designed for advisors who want to center their businesses around cruise sales, the program has 11 online lessons focusing on topics like sales skills, popular destinations, travel insurance and international travel regulations.

NEXstart Cruise participants are eligible for a monthly group coaching session for a year after they finish the program, as well as webinars.

Nexion president Jackie Friedman said the host agency has noticed increased interest in cruise sales among advisors.

“NEXstart Cruise is the result of our members wanting education that is highly tailored to this specific topic,” she said in a statement. “It is designed to narrow down focus while at the same time giving users a broad range of skills and knowledge to build their cruise business.”

The program will officially launch at Travel Weekly’s CruiseWorld this November.
