A company that took the National Park Service to court over trademarked Yosemite names has renewed its contract with NPS at Sequoia National Park.

The Fresno Bee reports that Delaware North Parks & Resorts at Sequoia Inc. is renewing its concessions contract for 10 years and will continue to manage hotels, restaurants, stores and other services in the park.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service is fighting Delaware North in court over names at Yosemite National Park. Yosemite awarded its concessions contract to a subsidiary of Aramark last summer, and Delaware North sued when Aramark did not purchase trademarked names like The Ahwahnee hotel, which has since been renamed.

Park service spokeswoman Dana Dierkes says the new contract includes an agreement to protect existing names at Sequoia.
