RIU Hotels & Resorts has reopened its newly refurbished Riu Palace Zanzibar in the far north of Unguja.
The hotel now has 200 rooms, with designs to reflect the destination’s flora and fauna. Room amenities include air-conditioning, satellite TV and a minibar. Villas with private pools are available.
The hotel has access to a private area of the beach and provides sun loungers and umbrellas for guests.
“Zanzibar is a very attractive destination to our customers, so we are making a major investment there and we are committed to expanding our presence. As well as renovating, we have increased the capacity of this hotel, which is next to the newly acquired La Gemma dell’Est, whose refurbishment is scheduled to start in the next few months,” says Luis Riu, CEO.
