Spirit Airlines will begin flying to Cancun from Baltimore and Chicago O’Hare on Nov. 9.
The daily flights will complement the ultra-low-cost carrier’s existing routes to Cancun from Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale and Houston.
Spirit will compete with Southwest and a weekly Delta flight on the Baltimore route. The carrier will compete with American, United and Frontier on the Chicago route.
Tickets are now available for purchase.
The Baltimore-Cancun flight departs at 10 a.m., and the return flight from Mexico departs at 2:15 p.m. The Chicago flight leaves O’Hare at 6:20 a.m. and the return from Cancun departs at 11:50 a.m.
