Splendid Hospitality Group has appointed Zeljko Stasevic as general manager for the 336-guest bedroom Holiday Inn London – Wembley.

He will oversee the day to day running of this flagship Holiday Inn which is part of Splendid’s full-service hotel portfolio.

Part of the role will be to oversee the transition to adopt all the very latest standards of the Holiday Inn brand including the highly successful Open Lobby concept.

Stuart Bailey, chief executive of Splendid Hospitality Group, said: “We are delighted to have Stasevic joining us, he is an excellent ambassador for Holiday Inn with a proven track record in working on high profile franchising and branding developments.

“I have no doubt that his experience backed by his great attention to detail will put him in great shape to see through the successful transformation of this property into a characterful Open Lobby concept for the brand.”

Prior to joining Splendid, Stasevic worked as group operations director at Cola Holdings where he was in charge of running three hotels and playing a key part in the refurbishment and rebranding of Kensington Close to a Holiday Inn branded hotel.

Stasevic added: “I fell in love with the Holiday Inn brand so when the opportunity presented itself to run Holiday Inn London – Wembley I was very excited to take it!

“Splendid has always been on top of my wish list and I am proud to be a part of the Splendid family, their core values and investment in people is second to none.”

Stasevic, originally from Serbia, joins with an all-embracing hotel management background.

He began his career as a sommelier for Marco Pierre White, Claridges and Gordon Ramsey.

Among his successful projects he has turned The Westbury Hotel, Mayfair, into a Luxury Collection Hotel for Starwood.

Holiday Inn London Wembley is located just a ten-minute walk from Wembley Park Underground Station.

With a full range of services, it is an unbeatable venue for meetings and conferences with easy access to Central London and its main attractions.
