The Royal Portfolio has added The Farmstead to its portfolio, set for opening on June 1, 2019. The Farmstead is in the Greater Kruger National Park area, close to the existing Royal Malewane Lodge.
The Farmstead at Royal Malewane will consist of a main lodge area with three Luxury Farm Suites and The Farmhouse on either side of the central area. The Farmstead also boasts a spa and gym. The three Luxury Farm Suites are all en-suite with a bath, shower and outdoor shower. Each suite has its own deck, overlooking a private pool.
The Farmhouse consists of three large bedrooms as well as a smaller children’s room. It has its own private services including a chef, housekeeper and butler. Guests will also have access to a private game-viewing vehicle, ranger and tracker. The house has a deck and large swimming pool. The Farmhouse is offered as four individual units or for exclusive use for up to 14 guests.
Liz Biden, owner of The Royal Portfolio, has already acquired much of the furniture and original art. Commenting on the unique style, Biden said: “Expect light oak, tin roofs, wrought iron and gentle hues of blue and white with royal blue, indigo and turquoise patterns adorning the fabrics of the comfy sofas on wide verandas.”
