Australian-based corporate travel platform, Travelport Locomote, has announced its latest partnership with boutique travel management company, Jetstream Travel.

Jetstream Travel is one of the first agencies in Australia to gain access to Travelport Locomote’s corporate travel platform.

The news follows Travelport Locomote’s recent launch in the UK, and is part of its global expansion plans for 2017.

The travel tech company has ambitions to double in size by the end of 2017, and sees the venture as an important step forward in that growth.

Jetstream Travel is a Queensland based, boutique travel management consultancy that focuses on providing personal service and attention to detail.

It services customers across the world, and will use Travelport Locomote’s platform for both international and domestic travel.

Speaking of the partnership, Sandra McLeod, chief executive of Travelport Locomote, said: “With a growing portfolio of clients and high level of customer service, Jetstream Travel is the perfect travel management company partner for us.

“Building relationships with local travel management companies is a core business strategy for Travelport Locomote, especially as we continue to grow our company, reach, and client network across the globe.”

Travelport Locomote is a corporate travel platform which allows all travel activity, whether online, offline or a mix of the two, to be managed seamlessly.

Scott Mayne, founder, Jetstream Travel, added: “Through our new partnership with Travelport Locomote, our travel managers are now able to manage corporate bookings at the click of a button, 24/7.

“This means that our experts are able to better serve our customer base, by putting more time into providing personalised travel support with less effort, ensuring their clients’ individual needs are met as efficiently and specifically as possible.”
