UGANDA Airlines says it will begin flights to Johannesburg next year.

The airline originally said it would launch flights on December 10 (see TNW October 9), which formed part of its expansion plans.

eTNW contacted the airline and was told “we will begin flights to Jo’burg next year”. The airline could not give a commencement date.

The airline has since commenced services to Mombasa, beginning November 11, and Kilimanjaro on November 13.

In a statement released last week, the airline said it still planned to fly to Nairobi, Bujumbura, Dar es Salaam, Juba, and Mogadishu.
