Zoe Wall has been appointed as the new group director of spa, Asia, at Minor Hotel-owned MSpa International, based in Bangkok.

She brings a wealth of global experience and a unique record of success to her new role, having worked in locations from the Caribbean to the Middle East.

Wall displays an all-rounder approach to the job, having worked her way up from spa therapist to general manager of a consultancy for five-star properties in the Middle East and Indian Ocean.

Her strengths lie in pre-opening development and large-scale operations.

Wall began her career with Steiner – the world’s largest operator of spas at sea – spending her youth sailing the Caribbean while acquiring strong foundations in spa operations.

In 2008 she moved to Dubai at the start of what would become a decade-long love affair with the region.

Her first challenge was the pre-opening of the spa at the much-heralded Atlantis, The Palm.

Her days varied from personally performing treatments for royalty to managing a team of over 100.

In 2013, she first joined Minor-owned Anantara Hotels & Resorts as spa director in Dubai.

At MSpa, Wall will be responsible for setting and implementing the company’s business strategy in the region, developing brand pillars and wellness programmes, as well as for the overall performance of spas, including all pre-opening and expansion activities.

“Zoe is a go-getter with relentless drive and vision,” said Thomas Meier, Minor Hotel senior vice president, operations, Asia, “and her track record speaks for itself.

“We are glad to welcome her once more to the team, and we look forward to the successes she will bring in driving revenue, marketing, and the launch of more wellness programmes.”
