Debbie Fiorino, senior vice president and chief operating officer of owned brands for World Travel Holdings, will be the godmother of AmaWaterways’ AmaSiena.

AmaWaterways’ 24th ship is set to make its debut in July 2020, sailing 10- and 11-night itineraries on the Rhine, Moselle and Main rivers.

Fiorino — who oversees the Dream Vacations, CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. B2B brands as well as CruisesOnly and Cruises.com — will christen the ship in mid-August. She said she is “humbled and grateful,” thanking AmaWaterways co-owners Rudi Schreiner, Kristin Karst and Gary Murphy.

“AmaWaterways has been such an innovative leader in the river cruise segment and a true champion of the important role that travel advisors play,” she said in a statement. “I am extremely excited to stand alongside them to officially welcome AmaSiena as their newest addition to the fleet.”

AmaSiena is the sister ship to AmaMora, AmaLea and AmaKristina. The 156-passenger ship will have 78 staterooms, most with twin balconies; connecting staterooms; a main lounge serving tapas throughout the day; a sun deck walking track; a heated pool with a swim-up bar; a fitness room; salon and massage services; a wellness host to guide group fitness offerings; and complimentary bicycles. The ship will have a main restaurant and a chef’s table experience.
