Frasers Hospitality has opened its latest hotel residence, Capri by Fraser, China Square, in Singapore.

Situated in the heart of the city and on the cusp of bustling Chinatown, Singapore’s second Capri by Fraser property seamlessly combines design, technology and social living into one holistic offering.

“The e-generation wants smart and stylish spaces where they can seamlessly work, play and interact within a like-minded community.

“Capri by Fraser, China Square is purpose-built to meet these ubiquitous and dynamic demands of our business travellers,” said Vernon Lee, country general manager, Singapore, Frasers Hospitality.

From the Den, a vibrant 24/7 social hub fitted with fresh designer furniture, wireless charging pads, games and refreshments, to Singapore’s first 24/7 state-of-the-art hotel gym with interactive Prama flooring, and even the brand’s signature self-service laundrette Spin & Play, with Atari Pong to test your skills on, the social living experience is elevated with communal spaces designed for fun, interaction and networking.

Underpinning this social living ethos is the prevalent use of technology and innovation throughout the property.

The upcoming Frasers Hospitality app will meet guests’ needs on the go, including 24/7 concierge services complemented by chatbot technology.

The app will be beta tested at Capri by Fraser, China Square / Singapore this year before being rolled out across all properties.

Guests will also no longer need to insert their room cards to activate power in their rooms. Instead, all rooms are powered by smart control technology that detects guest occupancy, improving overall energy efficiency.

Staff will also benefit from new technology, like a separate cloud-based app that taps on the in-room smart control to prioritise housekeeping, as well as RFID tagging of linen and uniforms to aid delivery and tracking.
