Carnival Cruise Line has increased opportunities for travel advisors to get on its ships.

The cruise line said it will offer 25% more tours, for a total of 200, on all 27 Carnival ships. It will nearly double its seminars at sea to 17.

Ship tours are led by a Carnival business development manager or director who conducts a guided tour of the ship and hosts a lunch onboard. Seminars at sea provide agents an opportunity to cruise and attend onboard training sessions while sailing as a guest.

“The best way to sell Carnival is to see Carnival, which is why we are committed to getting more travel advisors onboard our ships this year,” said Adolfo Perez, Carnival’s senior vice president of global sales and trade marketing. “If you’ve never been on one of our ships or haven’t been on one lately, this is the best way to see the latest Carnival innovations. A seminar at sea will immerse you in every aspect of the Carnival vacation experience, which is a tremendous selling tool.”

Carnival said that while tours will be focused on the newest products, such as the Carnival Panorama in early 2020 and the Mardi Gras in the fall, visits will be hosted on every ship.

Another new product will be the Carnival Radiance, a ship that will be renamed this summer after a transformation of the Carnival Victory.
