DERTOUR Deluxe, a German tour operator, together with SA Tourism, has invited 50 German travel agents to experience the Eastern and Western Cape, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu Natal, North West and Gauteng. The group are travelling from July 8-18.

The 50 agents will be separated into eight travelling groups which will join up on July 14 at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve in Gansbaai, Western Cape, for the main event.

Participants had to qualify for the trip by completing the DER Touristik Campus Deluxe E-Learning programme.

DERTOUR Deluxe has recorded a growth of 8.5% in bookings to South Africa for the current year through intensifying travel offers and programmes to SA.

For 2018, DERTOUR Deluxe will feature 10 new hotels and lodges for South Africa. The growing trend out of Germany is continuing, as 11 127 tourists travelled from Germany to SA between January and March 2017, showing a 16% growth increase year-to-date.
